I prefer these posts to outfit posts, I adore taking images and saving the perfect ones for blogging. The roses are from our garden, the tape from an old carboot sale, the house from a holiday in Croatia and image number 6 is my favourite...I am with my two wonderful sisters and I cherish every moment and memory of childhood (even if we all used to look like strange blonde boys). Milkmaid Braids

Milkmaid braids are the best bad hair day trick! This is such an easy look to create and it takes less than 5 minutes. You will need a few bobby pins and two small hairbands.

1. Divide your hair into two sections, the braids work better on unwashed hair.

2. Plait hair into two braids

3 Pull a braid over one ear and pin securely with some bobby pins.

4. Pull the second braid over the first one pulling the ends towards the back of your head. Secure your braids with some more bobby pins.

6. Add more pins to make it secure and viola, bad hair days is a thing of the past with milkmaid braids in no time.

Vanilla Sky

I live in the most beautiful place, where the skies go on forever and the fields are golden. 

This dress was sent to me from Romwe and I love it! the cut and flow of fabric is so divine I think it would be a perfect wedding dress.  You can get it here and the flower crown is from my Etsy store.

I have so many new wonderful followers, personally to me blogging has been such a constructive and positive experience. I have met loads of interesting and creative people and I am loving every second of it.

DIY Lace cut offs

This is a very simple DIY to give your old jeans some new life.

What you will need: 
Scissors, pins, a needle thread, lace and an old denim.

This is a DIY that has been done a thousand times before but it is so simple and very easy to do:
First I cut the legs off my jeans and then measured some lace round each leg, pinned it on the inside of the shorts and simply sewed it on! And if you have not learned to sew yet, remember its never too late xxx

 Cute cut off's just in time for the last few weeks of summer (sigh).

Endless Summer

"Girls can survive without a boyfriend, but they can't survive without a best friend."

This is my beautiful and oldest friend Lee, I have known her since childhood. We grew up together in the beautiful mountains of a small village in South Africa and we used to play in the fields and go to school without shoes on.
